I know you need to know...

I know some of you are dying to know.

I arrived safely at The Park Circle, last Sunday.

The sun was shining bright and the flowers were all in full bloom.

Also, in full bloom was a wonderful
Winter Cold brought direct from home.
You know the full blown kind that starts with the Sore Throat and end in the chest.

Lovely, isn't that wonderful.

With one of my "bestie" blog gal pals arriving midweek for a visit.

Oh, well, I'm not going to let that get the best of me.

The two of us were going to have some fun while she was here for a short visit.

So, yes, here we are finally enjoying a nice lunch seaside at
  Bubba Gumps.
{forrest gump soundtrack}
We had so much fun chit-chatting and covering all this juice little blog details.

The funny thing is when I pulled up to the curb at the Tampa airport,
it was like I already knew her and I did have to search Pammy Sue out for a second.

OH, that's me in the hat with the Black Bow if you didn't know.

I hope she had fun seaside and stopping a few coastal pull out to take in a few waves.

We both are fairly light and didn't spend too much time in the sun.
But, we were back in the P.C. pool most afternoons for snack and afternoon tea time.

I  hope you pop by PAMMY SUE's to see all over her pictures and stories.
I not sure when she will get a posting up as she just got home last night and I'm sure has some work to do to get caught back up.

She was great at taking the pictures out the window while I focused on the driving.
And if you know anything about the driving in Florida, you have to focus.

ONE WORD...... Seniors....or SNOWBIRDS.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect for her time here.
Even though right now it's Spring Break, this side of Florida is the quieter side.
I call it the A student side.
Most of the kids we saw were very well behaved.

There is something about the silence of the ocean that just make me feel more peaceful.
I sat in the shade and watched this guy chow down on like 6 big fish in a matter of a few seconds
Just where did he put them all.

I really was so bummed that I wasn't feeling 100% and some how walking down the beach in the heat with a big head cold wasn't in the cards for me.

But, for Pammy Sue there was no stopping her........

She even found herself a hunkie life guard.

I mean all I did was turn my back for a second and up the stand she went.

"G.B...... Look at me..... take my picture would you please..."

We has some much fun sitting there in the evening after a trip to the YARN SHOP
just stitching away....just like our own little STITCH and BITCH GROUP.

Now, I would be showing you what Pammy was making, but there was some
FROGGING going on across the room.  With a little grumbling mind you too.
Even in the same room, something never change.....he-he....

Some things never change like....of course,
I have my favorite hat along to keep the sun off my fair cheeks.

Some things never change.... like of course,
Margaret has my PARK CIRCLE blanket already for me on the couch for my arrival.
It's still looking good after three years and is one of my past favorites.

But, for some reason this year it's all about the

BEARS.

Can you believe I've only been here one week out of the four and have
three finished..... will actually it's four....one more completed last night.

Of course, now that I'm on week 2, which is my solo week before Scott arrives.
I will be meandering around taking in a few of the flowers and such that are close by.

I don't really plan on driving up the coast yet to see Scott's family, but you never know.
I may pop up mid week for a quick visit with my MIL just to check in.

But, all I know is that it was to short a visit.

I wish she had stayed longer.  I know there are some juicy tidbits that we didn't get covered.

And of course, I'm already wondering if she found
MR. GRACIA
you know as in the Grateful Dead....

who I hid in your suitcase for her trip back to Dallas.

I hope this little guy will be a great reminder of the fun time we had.
Better than any trinket that was picked up in the shops by the piers.

But, girls just keep your fingers crossed that we are not going to hear about her picking up
this purely awful cold that I have had this first week here in Florida.

Till next time.........

I love all your bears immensely.. I need to try doing one with variegated yarn. So far all of mine are one color. I'm sooo glad you two had a good time together. i feared we would never hear from either of you again. Such a shame you have been so unwell. Nothing worse than a cols when you are in a sunny place. They belong back in the Wintery place.
Hope you have a good week on your own and are well by the time Scott arrives.
Cheers

When I lived in FL we called the 'seniors/snowbirds' Blue Hairs. :o) And yes, you do have to watch out for them very carefully. Y'all had a lovely time. I'm a tad jealous....PS and the lifeguard. :o)

So sorry you have a head cold in FLORIDA...gee...I do know what that is like gosh darn. Take care of yourself and soak up those rays of sun and soon you'll be your young self again. I loved seeing and hearing all about Pammy Sue's visit. You both are sooooo cute! And you know I love teddy bears and your crocheted ones are adorable. I'm working on my credenza mat...loving the colors but it will need to be blocked. I've been after Hubby asking when we can book our return visit to WDW in November. Can't wait to get down there again. I just love it. Rest up so you can enjoy the rest of your trip dear. I signed up for Google+ but I can't figure out how to link it to my blog...stupid me. Any hints what I should be doing?

The little bears are lovely. Must be tricky to make the little ears.
I live by the sea and it never fails to amaze me the colours that you can see in it.

Looks like yo had a great time despite the cold bug.

So sorry you were under the weather when you were with Pammy Sue. Love your pictures and the bears are perfect. What yarn store did you go to? Hope it was one I helped you out with. The weather today is spectacular, but in Turks and Caicos oh my!!!!!! No humidity at all! I was so in love with the water and sand.
Hugs to you,
Meredith
